you know,
sometimes you look around and see people who don't really work hard get something and be successful. you think you deserve it because you worked harder, and only you deserve it. but the sad fact is you don't. because someone else will always be better/more capable/prettier/more likeable/funnier. and the other sad fact is this isn't the first time that it's happening to you.
so you take a step back and wonder, what went wrong, for like the umpteenth time. but you don't get anything/understand why, and you go, fuck it. and personally, i think that it's the best thing you can do. life's too short to envy others. so go out and live your own, encouraging others and be there for your friends, but never ever look at another and go "hey! i want that." or "that's not fair", cos life's like that.
so here's to you, my dear (: got to go back and study family law now.
