corrine may's "if i kissed you" was playing from the radio on the ride back.
if i kissed you; what would michaelangelo say?
would he still have sculpted david?
it was a beautiful song.
but he didnt, or should i say, couldnt hear it.
he just went on and on about who knows what.
she texted her best before dinner "i dont think we'll make it"
and she really didnt think they will.
she asked for him to drop her a block away from her apartment.
usually when they do that, it'd be half an hour before she got home.
and that is with a wrinkled dress and a silly grin on her face.
but tonight, she wanted the walk to buy time for her to fix her make up,
after she cried, so that her roommate would be none the wiser.
she resolved silently, & i shall stop wearing my heart on my sleeve, because you always stomp on it and crush it.
senselessly.
im missing mloct because i am watching a very long engagement.
